LucasArts "old school" game announcement coming Monday?
Maybe. The LucasArts Twitter site has been teasing about a major new announcement coming on Monday for the past couple of days. What is it? The only clue given is this one: "It is awesome news for our old school fans." Hmmm...a Day of the Tentacle revival, perhaps? Maybe an X-Wing/TIE Fighter revamp? We have our fingers crossed on that particular possibility.

X-Wing and Tie Fighter games redone with this gen graphics would be amazing!Posted at 3:10PM on Jul 4th 2009 by Alex
And you completely forgot about Grim Fandango. Sure, Tim Schafer doesn't work at LucasArts anymore, but the IP is owned by LucasArts so it is a possibility.Posted at 7:03PM on Jul 4th 2009 by Ninja

Are you guys ignorant? You really would rather play an X-wing game? have you ever been entertained by a star wars game that centers around flight combat for more than a half hour. Wow IMO i hope that it is a new KOTOR game, you know, and entertaining game that has substance and a good storyline.

Oh god I hope it's a new X-Wing game. I dug out my old copy of X-WIng vs TIE Fighter a couple of months back and it's still brilliant.Posted at 2:56PM on Jul 4th 2009 by Jon
