I sincerely hope this is true, even if the game is just ported by People Can Fly again, I would take that in a heartbeat.

As for the "issues" with the first GoW on PC, I must be lucky because I have played through the PC version 4 times (each difficulty solo and co-op for DOM) and the game was solid as a rock for me. No stuttering, no artifacting, just pure fun gaming.

As someone who is currently working his way through GoW2 on the 360 (with my co-op bud on insane), this would be welcome news indeed.

As for the "release date", that is later in the holiday window, and it would not be the first time Epic put a new game out in that timeframe (UT3 on the PS3 was also a December launch).

XBox 360 - Because anything the 360 can do, the PC should be able to do better...

I would take this with open arms even if it was nothing more than a port by People Can Fly.

Ehh I don't think this is legit. Even though this post has been recent still no evidence that it even is coming out. As of the "consumer website" is taking preorders I clicked on the site and I do not see where I can preorder the game and the site looks very fake to me. Was never a big fan of GoW2 didn't like the mechanics that much. But if this does come out for PC fantastic. Cliffy B said again as late as 2009 E3 HE is NOT working on a PC version of Gears 2 but working on DLC for 360 version. So if there is any truth to a PC version, Bleszinski will not be part of such PC version. Thus it seems unlikely that there is a PC version WITHOUT their head developer.
