E3 2009 is officially opening for business in about 30 minutes but we decided to go ahead and take some more pictures of the LA Convention Center before the actual exhibit halls open to general attendees. As you can see there is quite a lot of activity here even thought the show itself isn't ready for pubic consumption

Our impressions of E3 2009, at least at this early stage, is that the show's return to its larger trade show version was indeed the way to go. It also helps that the event isn't quite as big as the pre-2006 trade shows which had over 60,000 attendees. In short, it's not too large and not too small; E3 2009 looks like it will be "just right." Stay tuned to Big Download as our E3 2009 coverage goes into high gear today.
