A few days ago, we reported that the upcoming FPS MMO CrimeCraft would ship to stores on August 25. Today we received word that the game from developer Vogster Entertainment has secured a distribution deal with THQ and will be sold exclusively at Best Buy stores and on the retailer's web site.
People who buy the game will get two free months of play time along with two exclusive in-game t-shirts from "acclaimed real-world fashion labels" along with a in-game backpack for their character. People who pre-order the game will also get in-game shoes from Ecko Unltd, access to the game's beta test and a three day head-start on the game's retail launch. Best Buy is even providing a virtual gift card in the game that can be used for discounts for other virtual items. Pre-orders will begin online on May 31 and in stores on June 7.

You're kidding right? If I want a game that's not distributed digitally(a rarity these days, yay digital distribution), I go to Best Buy, and on release day for high profile stuff, I go to GameStop and yell that Best Buy has a stack of copies, lol, because they do.Posted at 7:30PM on May 28th 2009 by Clyde Cash

ya know, if they want to sell it like that it should read; "CrimeCraft to be distributed by THQ, won't be sold anywhere."Posted at 6:59PM on May 28th 2009 by Sam
