Brand new map coming next week for Quake Live

Last week id Software began its campaign of "Six Maps in Six Weeks" with the idea of adding one new map each week to their free-to-play FPS Quake Live. The first such map, Hidden Fortress (a remake of a map from the Dreamcast version of Quake III Arena) was released last Monday. Now id has revealed the second new map they plan to add to the game.

Scheduled for release on Quake Live this Tuesday, this is a Capture The Flag map called Siberia. As one might expect from the title the map has a lot of snow graphics and is designed for between 6 to 12 players, making it one of the larger maps in the game. The map's designer Yan Ostretsov also created the popular CTF map IronWorks.
