You would expect the first screenshots from a game titled Blur to be, well, blurry. So when Activision sent over the first screenshots from the upcoming action-racing game we were happy to see that some of the visual were, in fact, blurry.

The just announced game from developer Bizarre Creations also has some non-blurry screenshots as well, and they look pretty sweet. The real-world car designs are appropriately shiny and new and there seems to be some kind of special effects lighting in most of the shots. That might be the results of the power ups that drivers encounter to boost their speed and push other cars out of their way. In any case we should get to see the game in motion at E3 early next month.
