A man's best friend is his dog. But in Dragon Age: Origins the dogs in the game apparently choose their own masters. At least that's what's posted up on the official web site for BioWare's upcoming RPG. The Mabari war dogs are apparently going to be an interesting feature added for your pleasure.

As stated on the site, the dogs are not just for tricks like playing dead or fetching a ball. The Mabari war dog can pull off a knight off his horse and break a line of pike men in battle. Even the sight of a wave of war dogs can apparently send armies into a panic. Kind of like Beethoven but without the comedy.
