Grand Theft Auto creators are among Time magazine's 100 for 2009
The mainstream media seems to always throw PC and video games a bone when it comes to coverage of popular culture and Time magazine is no exception. In their 2009 edition of the Time 100, where they give their opinions of the 100 most influential people in the world, they name the Grand Theft Auto co-creator brother team of Sam and Dan Houser in their list.
Their entry in the list is written by Matt Selman, an executive producer on The Simpsons TV show. He manages to compare the GTA games and their comments on modern culture to earlier and more literary forms of art. He states, "The Housers are doing the work of Tom Wolfe, creating tapestries of modern times as detailed as those of Balzac or Dickens. At least, I assume that's true. Instead of reading those guys, I've been in Liberty City stealing tanks."

Hi,
I love playing grand theft auto although i found the latest one a little boring, it had an brilliant story line but after the completion, there was nothing.
Unlike san andreas you cannot customize anything or change things.
I think a new gta is needed. One that's set in a place like London or Paris and the option to customize your character fully from head to toe.
I think gta needs a complete new setting, a new person (who is customizable) a new area with houses to buy like on vice city and decent clothes shops including, Indie rock clothes for once, like a topman shop and ganster stuff in it's own shop, with shops also specializing in suits etc. also the option to apply for a job.
I know im asking alot, but the technology's there, why not use it. Trust me a gta like that would have a very high sell rate.
