Early weekend PC game sales hit the net

Perhaps because May 1 is considered a holiday in some parts of the world we are seeing some weekend PC game sales hit the net a little earlier than usual. Retail web site GoGamer.com has posted up their usual 48 Hour Madness sale with a number of PC game titles getting their prices slashed. Among them is the recent RPG Rise of the Argonauts for $19.90, Star Wars: Empire at War for $7.90 and War Front: Turning Point for just $4.90.

Another online retailer, NewEgg.com, has also put a number of PC games on sale this weekend. The PC version of Enemy Territory: Quake Wars is now just $5.99 on the site while the PC version of Lost Planet can be yours for just $9.99.
