EA reveals online features for The Sims 3

There hasn't been much to talk about in terms of online features for The Sims 3 but Electronic Arts finally revealed their plans for the online portion of their people sim sequel. Due for release on June 2, the game will feature a launcher that will take players to The Sims 3 Store where players will be able to purchase add-on items for their Sims. The game will come with $10 in SimPoints for people to get started.

Other online features will include ways for players to upload and share Sims 3 movies with others, create profile pages for their Sims activities and more. While the game comes with one town already available to explore, players will also be able to download a second town, Riverview, when the game ships to stores.
