City of Heroes to celebrate fifth anniversary next week
It seems like there is a ton of anniversaries surrounding MMO games this month. We've already reports on Guild Wars' fourth birthday bash and Lord of the Rings Online's second anniversary launch events. Now NCsoft's super hero MMO City of Heroes is prepping for its fifth birthday with some special in-game events.
Details are still shrouded in secrecy but the team at the newly named Paragon Studios have plans for a major chaotic in-game event that starts on Monday and runs until Tuesday. Special contests will also be a part of the fifth birthday festivites and all expired accounts in good standing will be able to play for free beginning on Monday through May 2.
