Empire: Total War on top of March's best selling PC retail games

The NPD Group has just released their list of the top 20 best selling PC games in US retail stores for the month of March and it's not much of a shock to see Empire: Total War at the top of the list. The historical RTS game from The Creative Assembly and Sega was als on top of NPD's weekly top 10 list for most of the last month.

The rest of the list has a lot of familiar names (Blizzard, Sims, etc) with just a few exceptions:

2. World Of Warcraft: Wrath of the Lich King - Blizzard
3. The Sims 2 Double Deluxe - Electronic Arts
4. Warhammer 40K: Dawn of War II - Relic-THQ
5. World Of Warcraft Battle Chest - Blizzard
6. World Of Warcraft - Blizzard
7. The Sims 2 Apartment Life - Electronic Arts
8. Spore - Electronic Arts
9. World Of Warcraft: Burning Crusade - Blizzard
10. Mystery Case Files: Return to Ravenhearst - Big Fish Games
11. Command & Conquer: Red Alert 3 - Electronic Arts
12. StarCraft Battle Chest - Blizzard
13. Fallout 3 - Bethesda Softworks
14. Civilization IV - Firaxis-2K Games
15. Empire: Total War - Special Forces Edition - Creative Assembly-Sega
16. The Sims 2 Pets - Electronic Arts
17. Warhammer Online: Age Of Reckoning - Mythic/EA
18. The Sims 2 University - Electronic Arts
