Much like they did with Spore, Electronic Arts seems to be going all out to make the June 2 release of The Sims 3 a major mainstream entertainment launch event. The launch of the third game in the people sim series is being advertised with the help of a massive outdoor billboard campaign.
A person on The Simmers Club message board site posted up a number of images of Sims 3 billboards including the multiple ads in New York City that you can see above. You can likely expect to see even more of these kinds of campaigns in major cities pop up before the release of the title.
