Cryptic Studios unintentionally frightened us with the whole April Fool's Star Trek Babies Online joke earlier this month. So it's nice that things are back to normal for the upcoming MMO game. This week three new screenshots from the game were posted on the official Star Trek Online web site.

Two of the new shots are space based scenes, including a look at one of the new Klingon cruisers. The other shows a planet-based environment. While the upcoming movie-based downloadable game Star Trek D.A.C. has been confirmed as a console exclusive, PC gamers still have Star Trek Online to look forward to for their Trek addiction.
