This week in PC Games: April 6-13

After a bit of a breather, PC gamers get a solid list to choose from in terms of new PC game releases this week:

The Chronicles of Riddick: Assault on Dark Athena: Vin Diesel's sci-fi franchise may not be as popular as the Fast and Furious movie franchise but this new game from developer Starbreeze Studios and publisher Atari does return Diesel's character of Riddick back in the FPS game genre. With an all-new single player campaign, a graphically revamped version of the 2004 game The Chronicles of Riddick: Escape from Butcher Bay and new multiplayer modes there's quite a lot of Riddick to go around this time.

Company of Heroes: Tales of Valor: This second stand alone expansion in the WWII RTS series from developer Relic and publisher THQ will have three single player mini-missions along with new multiplayer maps and modes to check out as well.

The Godfather II:: Electronic Arts pulls us back in with a second game based on the organised crime movie franchise. Can you do a better job running the family "business" than Michael Corleone? You have your shot in a game that mixes open world game play with a more strategic way to run the crime empire.

Elven Legacy: Developer 1C Company and publisher Paradox bring us this (sort of) sequel to the fantasy turn-based strategy game Fantasy Wars with two separate single player campaigns (one for us humans and the other for Orlando Bloom fans . . . er, elves) along with multiplayer and an in-game mission editor.

Flock!: This downloadable only game from developer Proper Games and publisher Capcom has echos of Lemmings as your alien character must guide farm animals to your space ship in over 50 puzzle levels Two player co-op and a level editor are also included.
