Yep, it has not been the best 12 months for THQ. The game publisher has seen its revenue slide down and as a result the company has been agressively cutting costs, jobs and whole development studios from its porfolio. However, anyone can dream of a better tomorrow and THQ is apparently doing just that.
GameSpot reports that according to a recent financial report to investors THQ presented a slide that offered up some previously unannounced games that have been put into the company's plans for its next two fiscal years. For its 2011 fiscal time period (which begins April 1, 2010) THQ has plans for Saints Row 3, the next game in Volition's open world action game series. That same years has an unnamed action game from its Relic developer and an unnamed racing game.'
For the next 2012 fiscal year THQ has plans for another Red Faction FPS title. That assumes, of course, that the June release of Red Faction: Guerrilla is a successful one. Also planned for the 2012 fiscal year is the launch of the long-in-development Warhammer 40,000 MMO title.
