While the Sniper Jarate weapon may have been an April Fool's joke on Wednesday, it was also a rather large hint. The Team Fortress 2 web site has posted up word that the Sniper character will be the next one to receive Valve's attention for their continuing work on the multiplayer shooter. In his post, Valve's Greg Cherlin states, "It's actually shaping up to be the largest TF2 update yet, with multiple new maps and a bunch of gameplay tweaks."

And that's not all, Cherlin also says, " , , , we've got another update in the works that should be done before the Sniper, and that one will include some new content for all classes." Hmm..new character skins perhaps? Naturally there's no word on when to expect these updates.
