Vista is great, I run it on my game machine, it runs faster on this hardware than XP did. I ran Vista, didn't like it at the time 'cause of the buggy hardware support, so I went back to XP. It sucked at launch, which is where this sentiment came from, so please understand that. However, like every operating system (save for some distros of linux) there are always problems at launch, and you usually need a year after release to get to a stable state where hardware manuf. actually support the bloody thing with non-crashing drivers.
