The first week of March saw The Creative Assembly's latest historical RTS game make a huge debut on top of the best seller list. According to the NPD Group, Empire Total War was the number one best selling PC game in US retail stores for the week that ended March 7. In addition the game's Special Forces Edition made the list in seventh place.Warhammer Online made a reappearance in the top 10 list this week at number 3 (thanks in part to a cut in its price). In fact there are quite a few changes in this week's list including the fact that Spore has departed the top 10 for the first time since its release last September.
1. Empire: Total War - The Creative Assembly/Sega
2. World Of Warcraft: Wrath of the Lich King - Blizzard
3. Warhammer Online - Mythic/EA
4. The Sims 2 Double Deluxe - Electronic Arts
5. Warhammer 40,000 Dawn of War II - THQ
6. The Sims Carnival: Snap: Bumper Blast - Electronic Arts
7.Empire: Total War Special Forces Edition - The Creative Assembly/Sega
8. Command and Conquer 3 Premier Edition - Electronic Arts
9. World of Warcraft Battle Chest - Blizzard
10. World of Warcraft - Blizzard

I am extremely surprised that WOW did not snag the #1 spot, everyone I know is into that game. This is a really great top ten list, anyone can post lists to our site http://www.toptentopten.com/ and then link back to your site. The coolest feature is you can let other people vote on the rankings of your list.
