Cryptic Studios' other announced MMO game is Star Trek Online and while that game is not as further along as Champions Online Cryptic has certainly made far more progress than the game's previous developer Perpetual Entertainment which went belly up early in 2008.

New screenshots from the game have now been released and we've put them into our ever-expanding gallery. The shots show some space scenes featuring a Federation Akira class ship along with an Orion Pirates vessel. There's some planet based shots with a Klingon warrior and . . . .some big steel door. With the new movie revamp coming in May there will certainly be more interest in the game.
