Battlefield Heroes announces dedicated server providers
Even though Battlefield Heroes is still in a closed beta test, the development team at Digital Illusions is looking to the future in terms of the game's final public release. This week the free-to-play FPS' web site announced plans to offer players a way to own their own dedicated servers for the game.
The site revealed a number of different companies that will be offering ways for players to purchase and run dedicated servers for the game. Those companies are currently offering a limited number of beta keys as well in various contest giveaways. Some are already offering special pre-order discount deals on their servers. There's still no word on when Battlefield Heroes will officially launch.
