Demigod is currently in the third phase of its beta testing and many folks have been wondering when the Gas Powered Games-developed RPG-RTS game will finally be completed. Our sister site Joystiq has caught up with the game's publisher Stardock and has learned that Demigod is now scheduled for a April 14 release date in both a regular $39.99 edition and a $49.99 collector's edition.

While that date is the current target, Stardock have changed release dates for other games, sometimes at the last minute. The Sins of a Solar Empire micro-expansion, Entrenchmentt, had several release date changes before finally being released via Impulse on Wednesday. So take "April 14" with a grain of salt.
