One game that perhaps hasn't gotten as much attention as other this year is Stormrise, the upcoming sci-fi RTS game from the fine folks at The Creative Assembly. The game will be released for the PC as well as consoles later in March via Sega and today the publisher released 19 new screenshots that we have added to our gallery.

The new visuals show off quite a bit of the game's art style and units, including the large bio-mech style bruiser above. Stormrise itself is centered around a post-apocalypse setting on Earth where two factions battle it out; the genetically mutated Sai who have lived above ground since "The Event" and the technology-based Eschelon which have emerged from their underground bunkers. While the dev team wanted to make an RTS game with a console control scheme, Stormrise is still scheduled to be released for the PC as well. Perhaps Microsoft should consider the same thing for a Halo Wars PC port.
