While developer NetDevil is working on launching a revamp of their original MMO game in Jumpgate Evolution later this year, it appears that their other major MMO project, Lego Universe, won't be out in 2009. Kotaku reports. In fact the report states that a Lego executive "couldn't say if the game would come out even in 2010."
According to LEGO Group's director of business development Mark Hansen, the reason for the delay was because "...the business is going good. We have products launching that are not digital, the physical products, with them going so well we don't want to take focus away from them." He added that they remain committed to Lego Universe, saying ""The NetDevil relationship is very, very strong. The commitment to bring it out is as well."
