Valve's
Steam service continues to expand it's already large catalog of games. This past weekend the Steam library grew even more with a boatload of older game titles from publishers
Ubisoft and
Codemasters. On the
Ubisoft side, you can download and purchase full versions of
Lost,
Splinter Cell: Double Agent and
Driver: Parallel Lives. Codemasters adds a
whopping eight older games on Steam including
Second Sight,
Maelstrom and
Soldiers: Heroes of WWII.
Steam has also announced that from now until March 2 you can purchase and download the excellent defense-strategy game
Defense Grid: The Awakening for just $14.99. That's a 25 percent discount off its normal price. And their previous 50 percent weekend deal for
Left 4 Dead has been extended; you can still get the zombie co-op shooter at the
smaller price until tomorrow.
Is it time to buy L4D? Not for me, since 25 for multi sucks, I'll buy once it's down to $15Posted at 7:30PM on Feb 16th 2009 by Game_playa
