Even as Electronic Arts has retreated from the sports game genre on the PC, 2K Sports has made its first inroads onto the platform. Last fall NBA 2K9 made it to the PC and earlier this year the same happened to the management sim game MLB Front Office Manager. Now 2K Sports is planning to release Major League Baseball 2K9 for the PC as well. While the publisher has never named the PC platform as one that will have the game in its press releases, the game's official web site now does list the PC version, complete with system requirements. The $19.99 PC version of the game is scheduled to ship to stores the same day as its console counterparts on March 3. Check out the system requirements after the jump.
