After months of speculation and rumor, UK based publisher Eidos may finally have someone interested in buying the company. Japanese based Square Enix announced their plans to acquire Eidos this morning. The asking price. About 84 million UK pounds ($120 million).

Both Square Enix and Eidos' executive teams have approved of the offer but now the acquistion goes to Eidos's shareholders who will vote to see if they will approve of the price.
