If you want to get into the beta test for Demigod you have to pre-order the upcoming action-RTS-RPG title and then wait until the beta test begins a new phase. Phase 3 of beta testing is about to begin on Feb. 19. According to Stardock CEO Brad Wardell on his blog site, "A week after that, the window will close for new people to join the beta."
This portion of the beta will be about testing the persistant multiplayer game that is being developed for the Gas Powered Games-created title. As Wardell states, "Beta 3 will deal with the various balance issues that this introduces and will give players a real opportunity to start really ripping apart exploits and things we haven't thought of."
In a related note, Wardell has also posted up a preview of the next version of their Impluse download client which will launch just before the release of Demigod in mid-April. New features will include player ranking, achievements and lots more.
