We may have to wait a bit longer before the game comes out but developer BioWare is still providing more new info about their long-in-development fantasy RPG Dragon Age: Origins. Today the developer revealed all six playable races for the game along with a boatload of new screenshots.
BioWare's design for Dragon Age: Origins means that each of the six races has their own unique "origin story." That means each race will begin the game in different locations and circumstances and will have their own unique storyline for the first several hours of gameplay. You can check out all six races in our special gallery feature along with brief descriptions. More info on the races can be found at the Dragon Age Origins web site. In addition we have added a whopping 42 new screenshots from the game to our regular Dragon Age: Origins gallery. The game, originally slated for a first quarter 2009 release, is now scheduled for a fall 2009 release.

That's not six races. That looks more like three races each with two different social situations.Posted at 4:38PM on Feb 12th 2009 by NekoDaimyo
