Last week the long awaited 1.2 PC patch for Call of Duty: World at War was released and it included a new multiplayer map (actually a revised version of an older map). But developer Treyarch and publisher Activision are planning to release a major map pack for the WWII shooter and it looks like more specific news will be coming soon-ish.

The game's official web site is already flashing a message that you can see above you for a few seconds and a message on the game's official message board also confirms that we can expect to see at least one new official Nazi Zombie level will be included in the package. The big question: Will PC owners have to wait until after their console counterparts to get access to the map pack? We should know something soon.
