The Sims 3 delayed until June 2

It looks like the speculation last week about The Sims 3 being delayed was in fact true. Today Electronic Arts announced that the long awaited people sim game, originally scheduled for release on Feb. 20, has now had its release date pushed back until June 2.

No specifc reason for the delay was announced. However, EA did confirm that the game would be released for the Mac, iPhone, iPod Touch and mobile devices alongside the PC. EA's VP of Marketing Russell Arons,is quoted as saying, ""The June launch combined with the break-through game the team is building gives us the perfect runway to create awareness for The Sims 3."

YOUR CUTTING BACK OUR PC GAME AND RELEASING IT 3 MONTHS LATER JUST SO IT WILL BE BIGGER. HOW PITIFUL.

Most of my life evoles around the sims games i liked the sims 1 and i liked the sims 2 for awhile but i really would have loved it if they had put some stuff like in the sims1 makin magic in it. I learnt of the sims 3 in october 2008 and heard at first it was coming out in january about the 19-20th then they said 26th march here (south australia) now everyone is saying to wait intill june 2nd ._. i really wish i could do to the people causing all the pushbacks what i did to some of my less wanted sims in the sims1 ^-^ out this rate i dont think i want to buy it anymore i love the sims games but if its just wait,wait,wait,wait,wait, it cant be that good. In the end i all ways got board of all the sims games at some point so this time i might just pretend im past that board point and forget about it.... (i might get the sims 3 in about 10 years hopfully by then their wont be anymore need to wait and it would be worth having forgotten about it) im so sad that i waited all this time for nothing but i dont want to wait for another 5 or more months then be upset all over again when its pushed back yet again... so bye to "all" EA games you are not worth the emotions anymore.Posted at 9:04AM on Mar 18th 2009 by Joan
