Sega's 2008 Iron Man game (based on the Marvel Comics movie of the same name) didn't get the best reviews but did generate solid sales, thanks in part to the success of the film. Today Sega announced they would again team up with Marvel to release Iron Man 2, based on the film's upcoming sequel that will be released in the summer of 2010
Sega's San Fransisco development studio (previously known as Secret Level) will once again handle the development duties for the Iron Man game sequel. Sega promises gamers "can expect an entirely new and enhanced gameplay experience." We sure hope so. Marvel's Armored Avenger needs a game that's as good as the films turned out to be.
