Rumor: Codemasters to publish next Leisure Suit Larry game?
The next game in the very adult adventure game series was announced about a year ago by Vivendi Games with UK-based Team 17 named as the developed. However that's the last we heard on the game's development. When Vivendi Games merged with Activision to form Activision Blizzard last summer, the title was not one they decided to pick up. Since then many of their cast-offs have found other publishers (Brutal Legend for EA, Ghostbusters for Atari, World in Conflict: Soviet Assault for Ubisoft and others).

Ugh, why hasn't this title died yet? Now that Sierra is no more and Activision wouldn't know a good game if it bit them in the ass, someone should give the rights back to Al Lowe so a proper entry in the series can be made. Then we can forget about the travesty that was MCL and the mistake that this game looks to be.

I agree. Al Lowe should be given the rights back or brought back in to make a least one more big one and wrap the whole thing up.Posted at 10:26PM on Feb 1st 2009 by Andrew's Screen
