Saints Row 2 PC patch released via Steam
A few weeks after its release to stores, THQ has now released the first patch for the PC port of Saints Row 2. Because the game uses Valve's Steam client as its authorization tool, the patch is only available for download via Steam.
One of the big problems that reviews of the PC version have complained about is the poor performance. This patch supposedly improves the general performance by as much as 20 percent (depending on your rig's hardware specs). The game's frame rate cap of 32 FPS has been removed and a new variable frame cap has been put in along some bug fixes.
