I loved the heck out of F.E.A.R. 1. Before playing the demo, I was skeptical that it was a good move to add giant mechs. I thought it would deter from the actual horror part of the game.

Fortunately I was mistaken. The transitions between the "Alma scenes" and combat scenes were very smooth (if that's the right word). And above all, blowing stuff up with the power armor didn't feel tacked on. I'm actually looking forward to the full game's release after some hands on time.Posted at 11:04PM on Jan 22nd 2009 by Apoth
