Ruffian Games formed

With the economy tanking, it's always good to know that some companies are not just launching but hiring as well. Such is the case with Scotland-based Ruffian Games which announced itself today. The new dev studio was formed by former members of Real Time Worlds, Xen Group and others.

While the company is hiring they are not yet revealing much about the game's first project except that it has "signed with one of the world's biggest and most successful publishers." Rumors hit the Interwebs late last year that their first game might be a sequel to the 2007 released Xbox 360 game Crackdown but that has yet to be confirmed.
