New World of Warcraft patch released

Blizzard is using Inauguration Day in the US to release the latest patch for their hit MMO World of Warcraft, ensuring that millions of people around the world will be so distracted they will miss the chance to see the 44th president of the US take the oath of office live.

Our sister site WoW Insider has the details on what the 3.0.8. patch contains. While it's the first patch released since the launch of the game's second expansion pack Wrath of the Lich King this new update has few content additions. One of the more interesting new features is support for Nvidia's newly announced 3D Vision glasses which allow players to view a number of games in 3D (if they have the right monitor).
