Since the release of Crysis Warhead in September, developer Crytek has put most of its attention to patching and adding onto its multiplayer stand alone product Crysis Wars. In Crytek's regular monthly update they reveal their plans to finally release a patch for the single player Crysis Warhead.
According to the update the patch is "...almost finished thanks to some hard work from the Warhead team...". However an actual release date and notes on what the patch will contain have not been revealed. Also the promised editor and SDK mod tools for the game are in the cards as well, with the update stating, "good progress is being made and we're hoping it will be sooner rather than later."

that reminds me, I've barely even played Crysis Warhead, I never beat it, I'll need to start a new game cause I lost my old save when my harddrive crashed.Posted at 3:00PM on Jan 6th 2009 by Alex

Maybe this wil; fix the problems with the DX9 crashing. Makes me mad when I lose a save because of it.Posted at 3:13PM on Jan 6th 2009 by Erik Stroud

wait... you mean the warhead SDK is different than the normal crysis one? all they did was optimize the engine and change a few models... must be optimizing the sdk too?Posted at 11:00AM on Jan 6th 2009 by Sam
