2008 was a great year for PC gamers but it might have been a better year if some of the best console games of last year had also been ported over to the PC. We know, we know...some console ports are better than others but still there's a lot of potential in having many of 2008's best games come to our side of the fence.

2009 will see console titles like Mirror's Edge, Saints Row 2 and Burnout Paradise come to the PC but what if other such game also made the jump. Big Download has our picks for console exclusives that should be considered for the PC such as Gears of War 2 and many others.

The only ones here that interest me are Fable 2 and Gears of War 2. Fable 2 will probably come... Gears SHOULD, really. The original got a bad rap as a poor port, but it ran great for me and was a good game.

Here's hoping.

I never played the first one, and since the second isn't coming to PC, looks like I won't play this one either. Im not sure why I skipped the first one, probably because I felt like it took them too long to port it and it was a "old game at new price" by the time it was out.

I would LOVE to see Little Big Planet and MGS4 ports, but I know that'll never happen.

They can all stay on console for all i care, just as long as Dead Island, Diablo 3, Arma 2, are still coming. OH! and Tripwire's TBA game and Illusion's new game, Enemy in Sight.Posted at 4:36PM on Jan 8th 2009 by born2expire

I agree that Fable2 should have been a PC game. I got really frustrated with the control being jerky and downright annoying in some area's and wished for the precision of my keyboard and mouse.Posted at 6:36PM on Jan 6th 2009 by Zushiba
