TN Games have been promoting their Gaming Vest for some time now. For those not familiar, you wear a vest while you play a first person shooter and, if the game has the necessary support drivers, shots generated in the game can be "felt" by you via the vest. Now TN Games has announced an upcoming product that will give the same experience for your head. The HTX Helmet will work with TN Games' gaming vest. When worn gamers will "feel bullets whizzing by your helmet or the impact of getting shot in the head." If this is the sort of thing you want to experience while playing, say, Left 4 Dead, then you will still have to wait as the HTX Helmet is due for release in 2009. No price has been announced.

This is a really cool concept. However, if you're wearing this and the vest, chances are you're going to look like a total douchebag at LANs. Unless of course, you say that you like to dress up when you play Call of Duty.
It's probably a good thing they don't have any facial pain motors on the front, even though a lot of headshots are to the face.Posted at 10:20PM on Dec 9th 2008 by LocalToast
