How will the Power Stones work in the game?

The "Power Stones" are really the heart and soul of Mytheon. Practically every major component of the game at some level involves the Power Stones. Combat, character progression, trading, collecting, and so on will all revolve around the Power Stones and we're looking forward to revealing more details on exactly how these mechanics will work and what each of the numerous individual stones can do.

What kinds of spells can the player use in the game?

Players will have a wide variety of direct damage spells, summoned creatures, powerful structures, area of effect spells and buffs and debuffs at their disposal to help them take on the gods of old. There is such a wide variety of spells that there will be something to fit just about any play style at launch; and new spells will constantly be added to enhance game play and replayability once the game goes live.

What kinds of units (or minions as you guys are calling them) will be in the game?

Many of the minions will be pulled directly from various mythologies from around the world. A big part of the fun and appeal of Mytheon is being able to take control of these very powerful and cool mythological creatures that will each have their own unique specialties. As an example you may be able to take control of say a Minotaur and send it and a Gorgon into battle against your enemies...and then send in a Chinese dragon as back up; because Mytheon is also about blending the various mythologies together and pulling from all of them to create a new experience.

Will this game have any single player campaigns?

There won't be an offline single player campaign in Mytheon, however just about any quest or task can be accomplished through solo play. There will certainly be a percentage of content dedicated to groups, but we also wanted to ensure that we were never forcing anyone into group play in order to achieve their goals.

How will group and PVP battles be handled in Mytheon?

You can definitely count on Arena play and dueling and down the road we'll be releasing far more detailed information on all the types of PvP options in store for Mytheon players.

What other features will the game have that you believe are important?

We definitely feel the Combat system and the heavy emphasis on Collectability are very important features that greatly contribute to making Mytheon the fun and addicting game it is. When we release the full details we think players will agree!

Will there be a free-to-play aspect of the game and how will microtransactions be handled in Mytheon?

Because Mytheon is micro-transaction based there will never be any charge to download the game and never a monthly fee required to play. However, the option to purchase things such as convenience or vanity items, booster packs, or even special bundle packages will always be available to those who wish to enhance their Mytheon experience even further.

When will a beta test launch for the game and when are you planning to officially launch Mytheon?

We're currently on target for a Fall 2009 launch, which means we'll be starting Closed/Open beta around the August/September timeframe. Players can look for more information on Beta registrations in early 2009 and can always keep up to date with new information as we reveal it at www.Mytheongame.com.

Finally is there anything else you wish to say about Mytheon?

We're truly excited about how Mytheon is coming along and our fantastic partnership with Petroglyph and we're very much looking forward to sharing a whole lot more in the coming weeks and months!
