If you are going to be in the Seattle, Washington area on Dec. 9, you might want to make it a night out for the annual Child's Play charity auction. The event will be held at the Washington State Convention Center and tickets are on sale right now at the Child's Play web site. The event raised money for the children's hospital charity run by the Penny Arcade team.Tickets cost $125 per person and $60 of that amount is tax deductible. The items in the Child's Play auction tend to be one-of-a-kind and one of them will be a bronze-cast World of Warcraft statue of an orc and wolf mount. Meanwhile the 2008 holiday charity drive has already received $560,000 in donations which is a big chunk of the drive's $750,000 goal this year.
