Developer Frogwares has been releasing a number of PC adventure game starring the world's greatest detective Sherlock Holmes. Today the game's publisher Focus Home Interactive officially announced the latest entry in the series, Sherlock Holmes Vs. Jack The Ripper, which pits the fictional crime fighter against the very real London serial killer of the 19th century.

The game itself will combine the traditional point-and-click adventure gameplay in third person with another first person viewpoint. Focus Home has also released the first screenshots from the game which is due for release this March in Europe (a US publisher and release date have yet to be announced).
