Grand Theft Auto IV PC to support 32 players in multiplayer

We've been waiting for a while to hear about the new multiplayer features that Rockstar Games has been promoting for the upcoming PC port of Grand Theft Auto IV. Today, via last minute previews with certain game media outlets, we finally found out that the PC version will support 32 players in the game's various online multiplayer modes.

That's a huge leap from the 16 player support that the Xbox 360 and PS3 versions have. As usual with Rockstar's PR campaigns, this revelation comes just a week before the game ships to stores on Dec. 2. As we have reported before the PC port will also come with a in-game video editor and a new radio station for your vehicles that allows gamers to listen to music from their own PC hard drives.

I support this motion. The future is in massive multiplayer. Cant wait to have a GTA world with many cities and thousands of players, a persistent, mature world, good storylines, consistent and compelling character development. *oozes*

PC is the greatest system ever (to me ) ps3 and x360 can't keep up. They make the most games for PC. You can Mod your Pc's specs to make it work better. you can't do that on a 360 or a ps3. you can use any joypad (ps3 controller and x360 controller included) you can do SO much with it. it's bananas! *head explodes*Posted at 11:56AM on Dec 28th 2008 by Raize9593
