Crytek opens Korean office

Far Cry and Crysis developer Crytek continues to expand its growing offices worldwide. The German based developer announced today that it would open an office in Seoul, South Korea in an effort to expand its Cryengine licensing business in Asian markets. The Cryengine is already being used for NCsoft's upcoming MMO Aion which is under beta testing in Korea at the moment.

Crytek has already expanded beyond its German roots to include offices in Hungary (where their most recent game, the PC shooter Crysis Warhead, was developed) and Kiev. Last June it announced that it had purchased the Bulgaria-based Black Sea Studios, renaming it Crytek Black Sea.
