New trio of Empire: Total War screenshots released
As we get into the final part of the holiday rush for new game titles, some of us are already looking forward to 2009 and one of the reasons why is Empire: Total War, the upcoming and latest historical RTS game from developer The Creative Assembly and publisher Sega.
This past week the publisher sent out three new screenshots from the game that depicts the world in the 17th and 18th centuries. Two of them show some impressive crowd scenes of the British Army and US forces as an example of the game's graphics engine which will be able to show thousands of units on screen at once. The third shows a scene from the first successful colony in the US, Jamestown. Empire: Total War is due for release in February.
