Fallout 3 tops PC game sales in October

Even though it was officially on sale for only the last few days of October that was apparently enough to push Fallout 3 to the top of the best selling PC games for the entire month of October, according to info from the NPD Group. Bethesda Softworks' post apocalypse RPG edged out Electronic Arts' alien evolution sim Spore for the top spot. Number three belongs to Nancy Drew: The Haunting of Castle Malloy by Her Interactive, showing that this series of casual adventure games continues to gain popularity. Far Cry 2 from Ubisoft and Warhammer Online from EA's Mythic Entertainment rounded out the top five:
