You may have heard there was a little PC game that was first officially put on sale last night (put those 7-Eleven stories you may have heard out of your mind). World of Warcraft: Wrath of the Lich King is quite possibly the biggest single launch even ever for a PC only game and the lines to buy a copy of Blizzard's second MMO expansion pack were, well, massive.
Our sister site WoW Insider has all the info you need on the launch of Wrath of the Lich King (including word that Gamestop stores apparently had some credit card issues). There's also a gallery of various Lich King launch events. The picture above is taken from the Best Buy event in New York City where the first customer in line apparently got to go home with more than just the game (if you know what we mean and we think you do).
