Mirror's Edge PC confirmed for January 2009
Up until now EA has only said that the PC game would come out this "winter" but online retailers have had a January 2009 release date for the Digital Illusions developed title for some time. Today's shipment announcement of the console versions also mentioned plans for downloadable content for Mirror's Edge that will be made available in early 2009. There's no other details on this bit of news nor if the PC port will get its share of downloadable content.

While I personally don't mind waiting, it's frustrating that PC gets snubbed in the multiplatform release world. Fat stacks of cash have to get doled out in order to separate a month or two in releases between 360 and PS3, but PC gets pushed back by default, and then it is snubbed by the press because everybody's over the hype by the time the PC version comes out.Posted at 9:01PM on Nov 11th 2008 by Sokkratez

Sweeeet. Glad to see it won't be a long wait. Even if it did release on time this week there was no hope I'd be able to get to it until 09 anyway.
