The rise of free-to-play first person shooter has been rapid this year and now another title in the genre, Cross Fire, has just entered its closed beta test. Folks who have paid subscriptions to FilePlanet have the first shot of entering the beta which will run for one month.
The game itself is title being developed by Smilegate and will be released in the US and Europe via publisher G4Box. When it is officially launched, the full game will have 15 maps, four gameplay modes and a way to earn achievements and experience points that will let your player character level up with access to more weapons and items.
